Royal Robbins was more than a world-class climber — he and his wife Liz were pioneers of adventure. Their vision for a new kind of outdoor clothing was conceived on Half Dome and born in Basecamp, Yosemite Valley, in 1968. They didn’t climb mountains just to conquer them — they climbed for the soul. And they designed clothes for people like them: climbers, hikers, trekkers, and travelers who gathered at basecamps around the world to share stories by the fire.

Today, Royal Robbins apparel still reflects that spirit of adventure. Made with natural and recycled fibers like cotton, hemp, and wool, these clothes are built to be stuffed into packs, worn hard on the trail, and comfortable enough to sleep in after a long day outdoors.

Because every great adventure starts and ends at basecamp — and that’s where you’ll always find Royal Robbins.
